NRBC: The Million Dollar Show
The National Reining Breeders Classic will return to Texas in 2012 for the 15th anniversary of the prestigious event. During the prestigious, seven-day event, reiners from all across the globe compete for their share of the over $1.4 million record-breaking payout!
NRBC:n finaalin taso oli todella huima. Kun Justin Mathison ratsasti ennen toista lanausta Shine On Line hevosella tuloksen 232,5 oli fiilis se että tässä saattaa olla kisan voittaja. Jo aiemmin oli nähty hyviä yli 225 suorituksia. Mutta tämä tulos riitti vasta neljänteen sijaan.
Kahdeksan ratsastajaa myöhemmin Shawn Flarida ja 5-vuotias ori Spooks Gotta Whiz saivat uskomattomat pisteet 236 yhtälailla uskomattoman suorituksen jälkeen. Ne pisteet pitivät ja Flaridasta tuli 2012 NRBC Open Classic Champion. Tuomarit siis antoivat tälle runille pisteet 78-79! Flarida sai voitostaan $75,000, vuodeksi käyttöön neljän hevosen trailerin Twin Cities Featherliteltä, satulan Pard’s Western Shopista, Gist Silversmiths bucklen, Rios of Mercedes bootsit, Catena kellon, Whisper Bitin ja Santa Cruz Biotechnologies Animal Health and SmartPak tuotteita.
Jälleen kahdeksan ratsastajaa myöhemmin tuli Tanya Jenkins/No Wimpy Cowboys ja hän oli kiinni toisessa tilassa tuloksella 233. Mutta viisi ratsastajaa myöhemmin toiseksi viimeisenä lähtenyt Andrea Fappani kuittasi itselleen Reserve Champion tittelin 6-vuotiaalla Tinker With Guns orilla (tuloksella 233,5). Todella huimaa tulostasoa kuvaa myös se, että kaikkia finalistien keskimääräinen tulos oli yli 223.
Aikaisemmin oli ratkaistu 2012 NRBC Non Pro Champion. Mandy McCutcheon/Always Gotyer Gunsup voitti tuloksella 231. Mandy voitti myös Non Pro Reserve Champion tittelin hevosella Shiney Enterprise (227,5).
