NRHA Celebrates 70,000th Membership

NRHA is proud to announce that it recently completed the Association’s 70,000th membership. Charles McDaniel of Albuquerque, New Mexico purchased a yearly general membership at the NRHA International Headquarters and earned the distinction of being the 70,000th person added to the rolls.

2011 has been an exciting year full of many “firsts” for the Association. NRHA welcomed inaugural events such as the NRHA European Derby, NRHA Cowtown Classic, Interscholastic Reining Championship and the 4-H / NRHA Youth Reining Championship. Steve Tyner became the first-ever Green Reiner 1 Montana Silversmiths Buckle winner and Conquistador Whiz became the first, third generation NRHA Million Dollar Sire. In addition, the NRHA Nomination Program will pay out approximately $597,000 in new added money to the program’s first crop of foals at the 2011 NRHA Futurity. With these great milestones being achieved, NRHA is sure to continue the tradition of excellence for many years to come.
